Welcome New Communities!

After much anticipation, preparation and then delays, we are thrilled to officially welcome Awbrey Place (Bend), Carriage Place (Prineville) Chinook Place (Madras), Hillside Place (Lincoln City), Artesian Place (Olympia), Cascade Place (Enumclaw), Creekside Place (Battle Ground), and Laurel Place (Port Angeles) to the Caring Places family.  We look forward to building long lasting relationships with our new staff, residents and families.

Caring Places Management started with one small community in a small town in the outskirts of Portland.  We started from the ground up, swinging hammers and putting in a lot of sweat equity, as we formed the Forest Grove Beehive assisted living community back in 1991.

We have gradually welcomed communities to join our Caring Places.  We currently own and operate 12 unique communities throughout Oregon and Washington that are located in many smaller under served areas.  We are thrilled to introduce 8 of our newest Caring Places in Oregon located in Bend, Prineville, Madras and Lincoln City as well as in Washington located in Olympia, Enumclaw, Battle Ground, and Port Angeles.

Bringing these eight new communities to the Caring Places family will allow us to continue our mission to provide loving, thoughtful care for your loved ones.  We pride ourselves in innovative systems and programs to improve our ability to care. Many of our current communities are Memory Care communities in which we specialize in Alzheimer’s disease and other memory care conditions.  Whether we are adding memory care or simply improving on systems and communications, we are excited to be able to make these changes with you. It is our mission to provide exceptional care by “exceeding expectations for loving, thoughtful care.”  We understand how difficult if may be for some to transition their loved ones from a home setting to a care community, but we also recognize how important that transition may be for their health, welfare, and family dynamics.

Looking forward, as we get to know each other and strengthen relationships, we want you to know that “caring” is our highest priority.  We care for residents, their families, and our staff. In order for us to “exceed expectations” we look forward to frequent, honest communications about your expectations and ours.  If you have any questions or concerns we invite you to reach out to us.

We are so happy to have another “Caring Place” we can both call home.
