COVID-19 Community Update
We received another week of all negative staff and resident test results! This makes two consecutive weeks with no new cases. DHS and County Health Department have been notified and are very pleased with Hillside’s efforts and the results. We will continue to monitor the outbreak and keep you updated with any new information.
We received the results from last Friday’s testing and all have once again come back negative. This makes 2 consecutive weeks of all negative results for Hillside Place!
We have received the test results from our weekly community testing, conducted on August 20, 2020, and we are thrilled to announce that all test results came back negative. We will continue to monitor the situation and work side by side with local and state health departments to continue our infection control protocols to mitigate any chance of recurrence. We have been overwhelmed by the love and support we have received during this outbreak and we want to share our deepest gratitude for all of the kind gestures, notes, and prayers on our behalf. Thank You!

Deaths with Positive COVID Test
- Residents: 3
Today we received results from the testing that occurred on Friday August 14th. We are please to report that there are no new resident cases of COVID-19 to report for Hillside Place. Unfortunately, we did receive notice that 3 of our staff members have tested positive.
These 3 staff members have been working since the beginning of the COVID outbreak and had specific assignments to care for those residents that had a positive COVID test result. They knowingly exposed themselves to the virus to care for those in need.
Although we understand the risk that comes along with caring for those in need, we want to recognize these staff members as heroes. The word hero is defined as, “a person who is admired or idealized for courage or noble qualities.” These staff members are heroes, in every sense of the word. Please join us in celebrating and thanking them for their dedicated work. They are now home self-isolating and taking care of themselves, per CDC and Public Health guidance.
We are proud to introduce Hillside Place as a Caring Places Management community as of June of 2020! Located in the beautiful Oregon coast town of Lincoln City, Oregon. Additional care rate is factored based on resident needs and direct time spent to assist the resident or complete those tasks based on the care plan developed with the Resident and/or resident representative, community Administrator, and community care team.
All care needs will be assessed and discussed with the administrator, and laid out in the resident service agreement, which will determine the resident’s care rate. This service will be updated regularly to reflect current care needs.
