PRESS RELEASE

Carriage Place Now Offers Memory Care!
The solution to the growing need of Memory Care services is now closer to home in Prineville.

Prineville, OR, April 21, 2021— According to SeniorAdvice.com, 69,000 people in Oregon aged 65 and older lived with Alzheimer’s disease in 2020 and projections estimate that by 2025, 84,000 seniors in the state will have Alzheimer’s.  Since opening their doors in 1991, Caring Places Management’s mission has been to develop and operate “Caring Places”; senior care communities that holistically benefit their residents, resident families, employees and the communities in which they are located.

Carriage Place became one of 20 Caring Places Management communities in June of 2020.  In response to the growing need of critical memory care services in the area, Caring Places Management has converted Carriage Place from an Assisted Living Community to a Memory Care Neighborhood.  This fills a critical need for Prineville and the surrounding area. We are thrilled to be able to provide a compassionate living environment that can foster personal independence, freedom, dignity, and safety all while being a little closer to home.

Carriage Place is a beautiful 30-apartment community allowing room to care for 32 residents within our studio apartments and shared-suites. The unique design of the building provides each resident the opportunity to enjoy the freedom of movement within the community and enjoy a beautifully landscaped interior courtyard in a safe and secure home-like environment.

Our care is specialized to meet the unique individual needs that come as a result of memory loss. We have a unique memory care Brain Music program, life skill stations and life enrichment activities specifically tailored to create a sense of well-being, peace and purpose for each resident. We understand that there is no one-size fits all approach to caregiving which is why we offer individualized care plans to meet the needs and preferences of each resident.

We invite you to visit Carriage Place to tour our new Memory Care neighborhood and see how our caring solutions can meet the individuals needs of you or your loved one.
